[Registration]

Can we register as a group?

Yes, you can register for up to 10 Participant PASSes at one time from this page. Please note that at the time of registration you will need to provide the names of all participants.

Can more than one person use the Participant PASS?

Only one Participant PASS can be used per individual. It cannot be used for two or more individuals.

When does the registration process end?

The registration process will be closed once the maximum number of participants is reached. We encourage you to purchase your Participant PASS well ahead of time because last year’s summit sold out prior to the registration deadline.

Can I purchase a Participant PASS at the venue on the same day as the event?

At the moment we are not planning on accepting same-day registration. If we do decide to accept same-day registration at the event venue, we will announce this via the official website.

I would like to attend either day one or day two. Is there a one-day Participant PASS?

We are sorry, but a one-day Participant PASS is not available.

[Billing and Payments]

What payment methods do you accept?

The Participant PASS can be purchased by credit card or bank remittance using the bill. When paying by bank remittance, you will be issued a bill at a later date. Please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of receiving this bill. (For registration after March 1, please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account before March 31, 2014.) We will issue your Participant PASS after it verifies the funds have been remitted. We recommend that those wishing to obtain their Participant PASS earlier to pay by credit card.

What types of credit cards do you accept?

Payments can be made using a Visa, MasterCard or JCB card. All credit card payments will be processed using PayPal’s online payment system. From there, credit card information will be sent directly to the credit card company. No credit card information will be sent to the Secretariat.

Will the bill be sent by postal mail? When do I need to make the payment by?

We will send a bill via postal mail to those selecting payment by bank remittance. Please designate the address to which you would like the bill to be sent using the applicable section of the registration form. Please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of the bill issuance date. (For registration after March 1, please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account before March 31, 2014.)
All related bank charges must be borne by the registrant.

Can you issue a receipt?

For both bank remittance and credit card payments, receipt data can be obtained from the My Ticket page after the payment has been processed. This data can be used as a proof of purchase. In the case of bank remittances, the bank remittance form will serve as the official receipt of the transaction. For credit card payments, the statement issued by the credit card company can serve as proof of purchase.

Is it possible to cancel after registration? Will you provide a refund?

We are sorry, but we do not accept cancellations after the registration. Also, we do not provide a refund.

[About the Participant PASS]

When will I receive my Participant PASS?

Your Participant PASS will be sent by email.
For those paying by credit card, the Participant PASS will be attached to the email sent out after the registration process has been completed. For those paying by bank transfer, we will send the Participant PASS by email after verifying the remittance has been completed.
If for some reason you lose this email prior to the summit, you can re-download your Participant PASS from the My Ticket page (https://eventregist.com/ticket/list) on this website. The Participant PASS will be checked at the reception in order to avoid duplicate use of ticket. Please note that only one Participant PASS can be used per individual. It cannot be used for two or more individuals.

[Participant PASS cannot be Resold for Profit]

The act of purchasing large quantities of Participant PASSes to resell them on an Internet auction or scalp them on the day of the event for profit is prohibited by certain ordinances and byelaws. The New Economic Summit 2014 will strive to prevent such acts by cooperating with concerned parties to eliminate illegal buying and selling and to ensure patrons are able to purchase the Participant PASS at the fair and appropriate price.

[Event Venue]

Where is the New Economy Summit 2014 registration desk?

The registration desk for the New Economy Summit 2014 will be located in the Hotel New Otani, The Main. Please refer to the Access Map on the official website for directions.

I am arriving from a faraway location and cannot make it in time for the registration. Can I join the summit while it’s in progress?

The reception desk will be open throughout the summit. You can join the summit while it’s in progress.

Is lunch included?

The registration fee includes lunch on DAY2 and a cocktail party on DAY1.

We will not provide handouts of the presentation materials.
